Director's Statement

Glass Child comes from my own childhood — growing up with a younger brother who lives with Tourette's, ADHD, and OCD. Family life could turn to chaos without warning, and for a long time I felt guilty for struggling too, because I was supposed to be the "healthy" one.

This film isn't only about my brother. It's about every sibling who learned to stay quiet, take up little space, and become the child their parents never had to worry about.

I didn't want to romanticize any of it. I wanted something honest — about the exhaustion and the love that live in the same house, and what it means for a family to simply keep showing up for each other.
